Clean Eating Never Tasted So Good: "Brownie Batter" Oatmeal Bake Recipe

Are you looking for a delicious and healthy breakfast option that also doubles as a dessert? Look no further than this super easy oatmeal bake that tastes just like brownie batter! Not only is it gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free, but it is also packed with protein and low in sugar with the suggested products. To make this tasty treat, you will need:

  • 1 cup of gluten-free rolled oats *linked here but we get ours at Costco*
  • 1 ripe banana *the spottier, the more sweet!
  • 1/2 cup of milk of choice (I prefer oat milk)
  • 2 tbsp of Dutch cocoa powder *linked here but we got ours at Costco for way less*
  • 2 eggs (I cannot have eggs at the moment, so I subbed out with 2 unsweetened applesauce pouches)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 scoop Ancient Nutrition Pure Protein Powder *linked here*
  • 3 Tbsp Vital Proteins Marine Collagen Powder *linked here*
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Himalayan Sea Salt *to sprinkle on top
  • Bake Believe Chocolate Chips (These are on Amazon, but we get the blue bag, which is dark chocolate, at Costco for an incredible price!)

Simply blend all ingredients except the Himalayan seat salt and chocolate chips in a blender until well mixed and pour into a glass dish or individual dishes for smaller portions. Add chocolate chips and a sprinkle of Himalayan sea salt on top before baking for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool and store in the fridge. When you're ready to enjoy, simply warm up in the microwave or oven. This is the perfect recipe to make at the beginning of the week and have ready to go for a quick and delicious breakfast or when you need a sweet treat. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Happy Baking!
